Beauty Pros At The Met

Hi Beauty Pros! This week was the annual Met Gala and we’re still not over the amount of detail that various Beauty Professionals put into these now famous looks. We’re going to break down some of our favorites.

Metallic Nails

Metallic nails were pictured all over the red carpet in various ways. From a solid chrome top to even dipping your fingers into a metallic chrome powder! Nail artists had fun adding these touches to stars’ outfits.

Bejeweled Nails

Bedazzling anything is fun, especially nails! Some nail artists went all out and created art on art. The amount of detail on some of these nails is stunning!

Headpieces / Hair Jewels

Something we noticed was headpieces being added as a statement accessory as well as intertwining jewels and wire into hairstyles. These not only made a statement but added so much character to some stars’ outfits! So much that they would look completely different without them.

Face Jewels

Face jewels have always been around and have been more popular certain times than others. Especially in the music festival scene. However, this time around, instead of being the main accessory, makeup artists blended it into stars’ makeup looks. It was a small detail that made a big impact on how some of these looks turned out!

Bleached Brows

We know so many people feel indifferent about bleached brows. But you have to admit, when they look good, they look good! These starts pulled it off beautifully.

Overall, so much time, effort, and talent goes into events such as The Met Gala. It’s a creative event that brings various communities together - from fashion, to beauty, to design, to art, music, movies and more. We admire everyone and especially all the Beauty Professionals that participated! Their little details always make such an impact on the overall vision.
